We have visited many Greek Islands over the years, and although Patmos does not have the archaeological sites that we like to visit, it is a very interesting and attractive island. My wife and I stayed at Porto Scoutari for four nights and it was wonderful. The service was outstanding and the people very friendly. The view was so beautiful and the room extremely large for an island hotel. The island has so much Christian history and being an Orthodox Christian just added to the experience. We have loved our week at Porto Scoutari. The room was wonderful; it has all the conveniences: a shower with a glass door; a phone in the bathroom, a hair dryer on the wall. The room was spacious, too. The view from the large balcony was spectacular. Most important, every single person was delightful to deal with: friendly, patient, full of useful information. Mrs. Scoutari is so delightful to talk to, we felt we’d known her forever. Little did we know how unique and amazing our villa in Patmos would be when booking from U.S. My husband and I have never experiences authentic love and generosity in our travels.
